See-Saw

Our annual 50 hour See-Saw event with AOPi to raise money and awareness for cancer research and juvenielle arrthritis.

In conjunction with the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, the Alpha Rho chapter of Sigma Chi successfully completed its annual See-Saw marathon once again. The marathon spans three calendar days and consists of two brothers and two sisters riding the large, homemade see-saw at all times for 50 consecutive hours.

This event persists rain or shine, hot or cold, snow or hail. The philanthropy event is annually the biggest for the house, raising money for the Huntsman Cancer Research foundation and Juvenile Arthritis research. This year the event took place on October 21st-23rd and raised over $1000 dollars in cash from anybody who passed by the event and felt moved by the monument of dedication and persistence.

We still await more funding from parents and alumni.
